Valued Members - Please know that your Board is continually trying to bring you the best events at the best prices available. We are a non-profit organization and because of this we need your help in making sure payment for any event is received at least 5 days before the event. We thank you for your understanding so our payment to the facility/vendor matches the count they require us to give prior to the event date.

BOARD MEETINGS
Board Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm. Members are welcome to attend. Please email us to let us know you are interested in attending and to get the location and confirm the time of the meeting as we may make changes that will not necessarily show on the web site. Golf Camp - How Low can you go? 3-hour lesson, lunch and 9 holes
Location: Wolf Run
A one day comprehensive golf camp. Keys to Consistency, Equipment Can Work for You, Self Assessment and Goal Setting, Managing Challenging Lies and Conditions, Strategies for Getting Up and Down, and Being a Great Short Putter. The instructor MAY be playing the first few holes with attendees after lunch.
Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (9:00 - 12:00 instruction, 12:00 - 1:00 lunch, 1:00 nine hole play)
Price $85.00 payable to golf course directly - Minimum of 4 people required. Sign up must be a minimum of 2 days in advance. Call course directly to sign up at 851-8306, ext. 4.

Northern California Section Semi - Finals at Red Hawk
We need volunteers for the EWGA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA SEMI-FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP at The Resort at Red Hawk, Friday and Saturday, July 30th and 31st.
Positions Needed:
- Player Registration (2 on Friday from 3:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. & 1 on Saturday 6:45 a.m.- 9:30 a.m.)
- Starters (2 for 2.5 hours Saturday morning)
- Scoring (3-4 for 3 hours Saturday at 11:00 a.m.)
- Markers for Scramble Teams (5-8 Saturday morning)
- Forecaddies/Spotters (3-6 for 2.5 hour shifts)
- Photographers (1 Saturday morning for 2-3 hours & 1 Saturday afternoon for 2-3 hours)

Location: GolfTEC
Time: 6pm-7:30pm
It is never the wrong time to work on your short game. Join us as GolfTEC once again hosts a clinic especially for the members and guests of the EWGA.

Time: 7:00 p.m. for a BBQ on the patio and drinks followed by an 8:50 p.m. shotgun start
Format: 4-person scramble (If you don?t have a foursome we'll pair you up)
Fee: $30 Board, $35 Members, Guests $40
This signature event has proven to be one of our favorites. Coinciding with a full moon, join us as we take our glow balls and see who can play in the dark. Each player receives 2 glow balls. This event is limited to 30 players so sign up early. Registration Deadline: Thursday August 19th

October 1 - 2 (National Event)
Three stages:
1) One 18-hole qualifying event at the local Chapter level
2) One 18-hole District Semi-Final Championship held at 15 venues across the United States.
3) 2009 Championship Finals: A two-day, 36-hole event at Geneva National Resort & Golf Club, Lake Geneva WI (see www.ewga.com for further information)
