Calling All Artists and Graphic Designers
Showcase your creativity by designing the cover of the EWGA Foundation Cookbook “Recipes for Success – On and Off the Course”.
In 2011, the EWGA Foundation will be publishing a cookbook called “Recipes for Success – On and Off the Course.” and we need your help to make it happen! We are seeking a talented EWGA member to create the cover art for this book. The winning design will be shared and valued by thousands of EWGA members, family and friends for years to come.
Email submissions to: foundation@myewga.com by August 15th and the winner will be announced by September 1. Judging will be done by the EWGA Foundation Cookbook Committee. The winning designer will be acknowledged in the cookbook as well as being a part of the cookbook publicity and promotional campaign.
Over the next few months, Chapters will be invited to submit recipes for inclusion in this special book. The “Recipes for Success – On and Off the Course” EWGA cookbook will include recipes for busy businesswomen on the go, plus “recipes” for fun golf events and games on the course. The book will be unveiled at the April 2011 Golfpalooza at Amelia Island Plantation in Florida. Advance order sales will launch this fall.
Did you know that cookbooks have proven to be extremely effective in raising funds for numerous organizations? This undertaking will enable the EWGA Foundation to continue to create and fund education and leadership programs for women of all ages.
The EWGA Foundation, established in 2003, is a 501(c)(3) charitable tax exempt organization formed and supported by the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association, Inc.), a 501(c)(6) membership association with nearly 20,000 members in the United States and Canada dedicated to enriching the lives of women through the game of golf.
The mission of the EWGA Foundation is to create and fund education and leadership programs for women of all ages. Towards that end, the Foundation strives to develop educational programs that: improve women’s leadership abilities, self-esteem, and business skills; enable them to serve as mentors to other women and girls; and develop scholarship programs to allow women to pursue educational opportunities. The EWGA Foundation is funded through contributions from EWGA members, and various fundraising activities conducted throughout the year.
